Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar first aired on CBS in 1949 and ran in one form or another until 1962. Over the years  there were 5 lead changes and the shows starring Dick Powell and Bob Bailey were exceptionally entertaining.

The show was well produced and acted and is considered by many to  be the best detective show of the era.
